In celebration of the very first birthday of our web community known as SonicFrontiers.net, it is with great pleasure that we introduce the very first installment of our brand-new compilation series. This series represents a milestone in our journey to provide insight and opportunity to the artists and readers that share in our great passion for artistic music. Each volume will have its own unique theme, and will feature tracks that help to illustrate that theme. The music will always be fresh, underground and totally free of charge.
Volume 1: Chaos Bliss is a collection of ten blazing hot tracks, showcasing some of the best new sounds to come from the underground of “extreme music” over the past year. The compilation is a tribute to the culture of all things heavy, crushing and intense, and to the extraordinarily diverse ways in which artists express such sounds. That said, within this album’s contents you can expect to find many talented and ambitious groups that blend and blur the lines between the genres of death metal, black metal, post- and prog-metal, psychedelic rock and many more.
We hope you enjoy this great free music, and we look forward to providing much more in the near future.
